I miss you.

I swear, I'm not trying to blow you off. But life as a mother of two is busy...and I'm having some massive issues with my #2 dog. Either the cancer is back and causing her to act wonky, or the new baby is sending her over the deep end, but something is up with the only other female in the house....and unfortunately her way of letting me know is peeing or pooping in my house every time I leave...ugh. Nightmare!

To further this little complaint session, my husband has been out of town with work. I know, tough luck, but we have this tiny baby and he is missing the tininess. {boo for him!}

I lived through a 15 month deployment to Iraq, I had friends that did it with 5 kids....I know I shouldn't complain.

The bright side of this story is that because my husband went out of town, my Mom came to give me a hand. Yay Mom!

And the extra bonus was that my brother and sister-in-law came with their son for a visit!! {woohoo!}Before they left, I even had a chance to sneak a few impromptu family pictures...

And even a picture of Lauren & John (you know since Mom generally does not exist in picture form...)

Nothing like seeing cousins together!! Taking a picture of these three was worse than wrangling cats. This is probably one of the best we got, and it's not very good...oh well, we tried.

While my mom was here I took her to Cooper's Rock State Park. Unfortunately it was a very hot and hazy day, so the views were okay, but limited....maybe next time...

It was amazingly helpful to have my mom in town. {I often transport my little one the same way, so it made me laugh when she came into my bedroom saying that my son helped with laundry!} I'm sad to see her go...

So, now that you know I'm still alive, I must also say my creative juices have not completely dried up. I've got a few things going, and if I ever finish them, I'll be sure to share...
