Christmas shopping?!

Eeeek. I dread Christmas shopping. I guess I feel like overall I'm a lucky person, I have everything I want & need (including good health) as do(es) most of my family & friends. Each year I struggle with "the thought that counts" but ultimately: I'm lazy & I'm not rich. What do you ultimately get for people who tend to have everything they want & need? Usually it ends up being family pictures (not exciting!) maybe if I get really fancy some shutterfly calendars or mugs...

But already I'm fretting about the perfect gift. I'm already concerned about the budget. So all in all, I'm paralyzed with fear...what a great way to start the holiday season. Eeek.

On another note, we had a wonderful day celebrating our neighbor's 4th birthday. Her mother did a wonderful job decorating their entire basement as a haunted house (adorable!) they had games & even had a bounce house (of course Callum was scared of it!) but we missed naptime....which means a very sleepy 2 year old has a very sleepy Momma. It's going to be an early night.
