It feels so good!

I've finally allowed myself to unpack my sewing room. My machine is off being cleaned and taken care of, so I want it to have a proper welcome home...well that, and one of my best friends might be coming for a visit, we were roommates in college and for years after so I know she wont mind the mess. But, I was just so excited about the prospect of a visitor that I couldn't contain myself. I HAD to empty all of the boxes. It looks like a hurricane {well no water was involved} so a tornado went through...but now at least I'm moving in the direction of being settled! I swore that would be the last area I worked on...How long have I been saying that now? Like TWO months. Ugh. I'm getting there. Slowly, but surely.

On another note: I don't know if I've told you, but I broke down and purchased a Dyson vacuum. Usually I live by the reviews on Consumer Reports, which for some reason are always negative about the Dyson, but I figured what the hey, I'll give it a try. I bought a refurbished allergy model, and boy does it suck! {get it, ha ha!} We have SO much carpet in this house. White carpet. I'm dreaming about replacing it some day, but in the meantime, my Dyson and I have some daily quality time together. It looks fantastic. I do need to do some carpet cleaning, because like I said: it's {practically} white...I just don't see what Consumer Reports doesn't like about my Dyson!

Alright, I better go get started on dinner while both boys are sleeping!
