made: Another Snowy Day? And a Storage Tray...

This weather...I'll just leave it at that...

I'm being a little scatterbrained these last few days. I have a million projects underway, all at once, and I'm slightly kicking myself, and I'm also just going with it...

Yesterday I decided to rearrange, straighten, and go through all my son's toys. Ugh. Nightmarish! I still have about HALF of my kitchen island filled with stuff I took off of the shelf. Today I hope to figure out what to do with all of it...

In the midst of all of my projects, I decided to redo a tray that I have had for a few years. It's pumpkin themed, so before I could only use it MAYBE a few months, we started storing our keys/phones/important must have items on it and this year it never got put away. I decided on refinishing the ceramic part of the tray so that it can become a permanent fixture in our kitchen. Yesterday I spray painted the top and sides (not well!) but I think it will do the trick. I decided to use some scrapbooking paper, I printed our monogram & backed it in black paper. I'm thinking I am going to laminate the papers in hopes of keeping them intact for longer. I'm also considering changing the papers out seasonally?!
