My latest project {Tribute Star Quilt}

This is my take of the tribute star quilt. I kept seeing this quilt pattern, and every time, I loved it. My husband was away on a business trip so I decided I had to make one.

The pattern is FREE at Denise Schmidt {here} it was really easy to follow and I think the top was done in an hour or two.

I was envisioning this quilt to go on my bed. Finished it measures 60" x 60". I decided to go bold and only use two fabrics on the top + then a chevron on the back. I purchased all of my fabrics at Hobby Lobby, because I decided it make this while I was shopping there...

I decided to create three blue stripes to break up the chevron: 

 Simple. A little preppy. I'm in love with this quilt.
