As found in my updated laundry room, the Folding Laundry Drying Rack is really quite awesome, and surprisingly easy to construct.
Materials: I used 1x3" wood that I had on hand, 4 dowels, and 4 wooden knobs.
As well as the following hardware:
This was constructed using the Kreg Jig, drilled into the backside of the mitered corners. If you do not have a Kreg Jig, you can also use screws/nails and do not miter the corners.
I wanted a chippy paint finish on my frame, this is the process I used, but there are many other techniques and methods you may want to try...
I would estimate this took about 1-2 hours to cut and assemble, 1-2 hours to paint, and 30 minutes-1 hour to add hardware & hang.
