More baby gifts...

I guess I'm just in a time in life that everyone is having babies. Which means lots and lots of opportunities for baby GIFTS :)

Here are some pictures of a diaper bag I made for my friend Adele. I used the diaper bag pattern from Amy Butler's book Little Stitches for Little Ones.  I did tweak her design though, her pattern calls for a center divider, and I made my original diaper bag with the divider, I just found it made it harder to find things....and my diaper bag always tends to be a little bit of an abyss.

I loaded the diaper bag with tons of baby items....all matching of course!

This is one stuffed diaper bag!
Here is an outer view. I added a snap closure, just in case...

I made this sweet little dress, also an Amy Butler design!
This is also from Amy Butler's book, I think she calls it a snack bag, I find this HUGELY helpful in storing everything from snacks and bibs to a random spare diaper...
A changing pad
I used a changing pad I had on hand, simply rounded the edges, added iron on vinyl on one side, determined placement for button/closure/elastic, and sewed on hot pink binding along the edges. Adorable, don't you think?
A key chain, with a snap to attach it to the strap of the diaper bag. I'm always losing my keys. I should make one of these for myself!
A pacifier clip.
A personalized lovie (security blanket)
A tissue cover.
A diaper & wipes case.
A personalized bib.

Sweet little booties. And it's amazing but they do stay on.
I love baby gifts. I think they are a perfect way of personalizing and giving a unique one of a kind gift.

  1. Oh Dani!!! We LOVE our goodies made by you!!!!!!! The booties have received sooooooo many compliments!! We use the paci clip everyday!! The little lovie goes around the house with us from room to room also...it's soooo soft!! The bag is AWESOME and so is the change pad! My mom raved about the intricate stitching & how hard it must have been to sew on the plastic lining. And the dress......too darn cute for words! I'll certainly call on you when my friends have their babies. Got a few due this spring!! Keep on sewin' girl!!! LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!
